This section is in essence, an online version of the portfolio of my work I created during my MAT program to meet with the criteria set forth by the Kentucky Experienced Teacher Standards. Each rationale implicitly explains how I met with the criteria and each artifact serves as an example to that rationale. Please consult the portfolio matrix for a breakdown of my artifacts, as well as what Kentucky Experienced Teacher Standards they correspond to. A successful completion of a portfolio results both in one's acquisition of a Master's degree in Teaching (including 36 hours credit work) as well as Rank II Teaching Certification. In many of the artifacts you may see names removed from the work (typically in the form of a [name withheld]). This was done to meet with the privacy policies set forth by the University of Louisville regarding name usage in MAT portfolios. All names withheld within these documents are also blacked out within the actual portfolio. If you have any further questions or any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. One quick final note: artifacts 5, 6 and 10 are all saved in PDF form. If you do not have a PDF viewer, then you can download one for free by clicking here. Admittedly I am not a huge fan of PDF files (frankly, the acronym stands for Pretty Dumb Format in my book), but this was the only way to accommodate all the needed scans without creating 5-10 MB files that would take all day to download.
