Below are a few examples of various ads and fliers I've designed for the company, using a variety of programs from Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Image Composer and Adobe Photoshop.  Each sample has a corresponding description pertaining to the artifact's relation to the company.  Click on each thumbnail to view an enlarged version.

This is a slide layout, designed for the slide projectors in each house to promote the LIFE festival (a film series in November 2003).  Layout was created based upon specifications of the company president based upon the advertising needs of the festival.

This is an ad designed for placement in Louisville Magazine, to promote the theatre after winning the magazine's "Best in Louisville" Award in 2002.

This is a variation of the ad above (it too was part of the campaign to raise awareness that Baxter Ave. Theatres had been awarded Louisville Magazine's "Best in Louisville" Award).  This ad format was run in The Courier Journal and LEO magazine.

A third variation created after the Baxter Ave. Theatres won the LEO Choice Award for "Best Theatre".  Ad was also designed to cross promote Apex's second theatre, Village Eight.

This ad was designed for LEO Magazine's annual "Arts and Entertainment Guide" issue.  This ad laid out the upcoming films for "Midnights at the Baxter" for the next six months.

This ad was designed to promote the 5th Annual Asian Film Festival at the Baxter Ave. Theatres. It was an online ad placed on the front page of the theatre's official website.  The design was a modified, electronic version of the film series' flier.

This design was printed off as a translite once approved.  It is a menu sign designed for a backlit case measuring approximately 17' X 20'.

This design was also created for a menu board, but the board is a Schuldt design, capable of holding three translites measuring 14' X 20' each.  This ad was designed to promote the newest candy items introduced at the concession stand.

Another design created for a menu board as described as above.  This translite advertised the introduction of Japanese snack foods to the concession stand during Baxter Ave. Theatres' run of "Spirited Away".

A third design created for a menu board as described as above.  This translite advertised Ben and Jerry's ice cream bars during summer (peak sale months).

This design is also intended to promote Ben and Jerry's ice cream bars, but it was used for point-of-purchase signs that were placed at every register.

Below are samples of the numerous fliers I've designed for the company to promote various films or events.  Most are saved in PDF form.  If you do not have a PDF viewer, then you can download one for free by clicking here.
